You would be required to agree and sign an NDA?. The NDA will cover the operations and design of the business. This will include file systems on the LAN. It would also include your work profile, and accessing it. It would include the devices used, and who came to the office. I am someone that takes pride in supporting privacy. By requiring an NDA to be signed, I guarantee a level of standard when it comes to privacy of my tenants, and other employees.
If you violate the NDA, then you would be required to pay $50,000 per person that learns of the private things because of you. This is prohibitively expensive, but if a tenant moves out because they don’t feel their privacy is valued, then I lost a paying tenant. I now have to look for a new tenant that would be willing to rent the vacant apartment. In addition, the rest of the cost is punitive damages to discourage breaking the NDA in the first place.
